We use a topical anesthetic to numb your skin before treatment begins. Patients describe the sensation of Morpheus8 as a mild scratching, and mention a warm, sunburned feeling for 1 to 2 hours after. Expect roughly 1 week of downtime, including mild swelling, redness, and sun sensitivity that fades within a few days. It’s best to skip sweat-inducing exercise, sunbathing, saunas, and icing for 48 hours.
Some patients see improvements within 3 days. Results from a single session usually are most noticeable at the 1-month mark. Results can last for 1 to 3 years after a series of sessions is complete.
